Luminary SiG at Buck Institute

Band member Richard Pivnicka is organizing a Luminary Special Interest Group visit of the Buck Institute in Novato (https://www.buckinstitute.org). It is the world’s first biomedical research institution devoted solely to research on aging. The Institute is 20 years old, there are around 250 researchers there. Their campus was designed by world-renowned architect I.M. Pei that literally allows their researchers to work in silos. The visit will be also akin visiting a museum. Proposed schedule is to leave Silicon Valley via carpool around 10:00 AM and have a meal in Marin (before or after the visit).
