Dan Forootan

Dan Forootan is a technology entrepreneur with 20+ years experience in the hosting, managed servers, and email marketing industries. He has two exits (web hosting and email marketing) and is looking to bring his expertise in SaaS/B2B, demand generation, and strategic management into investing in and helping startups succeed. Currently, Dan is CEO and President of Ryzeo, a company he founded that helps small e-commerce businesses gain access to their web analytics data. Prior to starting Ryzeo, Dan founded StreamSend, an award-winning digital marketing platform offering email and social media marketing, automated content curation and management, and behavioral automation. StreamSend was acquired in 2017 by J2 Global (NASDAQ: JCOM), provider of Internet services through its two divisions: Business Cloud Services and Digital Media. Previously, Dan founded EZ Publishing, a web hosting company which he started when he was 16 years old. EZ Publishing was acquired in 2004 by Hostopia, a division of Deluxe (DLX: NYSE), which is delivering a white-label platform for Deluxe's suite of small business solutions. A recognized leader in the digital marketing community, Dan frequently speaks and moderates panels at industry events and has been interviewed and published by leading publications. He holds Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Managerial Economics from University of California, Davis.
