Khaled Barazi

Khaled Barazi is an angel investor and operating Chief Financial Officer. Khaled has over 25 years of finance and software development experience.

Currently, Khaled is Chief Financial Officer of AI Lean, a SaaS company solving compliance challenges for the self-storage industry.Prior to AI Lean, Khaled was VP of Finance at McCue Corporation, a product company solving safety challenges for the retail and warehouse industry. At McCue, Khaled oversaw finance,human resources,technology and legal functions. Khaled joined McCue while under private equity ownership,and helped McCue grow organically and by acquisitions through the final sale of McCue to Bunzl.

Prior to McCue, Khaled was Chief Financial Officer of Emitac healthcare solutions and Bourn Hall Fertility Clinic.Prior to Bourn Hall, Khaled was Chief Financial Officer of Fadel Partners, a software company solving royalty and licensing challenges for the publishing and entertainment industry.

Prior to Fadel, Khaled served in various finance roles at the MathWorks, RCN and CellExchange. Khaled started his career as an electrical engineer building hardware/software testing labs for Checon Corporation, a manufacturer of electrical contacts for the industrial controls industry.

Khaled started programming Basic in the 80’s using a Casio PB-700 and continued programming C and Objective-C over the years. Khaled is active on StackOverflow.

After completing his MBA, Khaled started teaching Finance at Boston University on apart-time basis and continues to enjoy teaching his students the basics of finance and valuation.

Khaled is a member of Launchpad Venture Group in Boston.Launchpad Venture Group is a network of active angel investors investing both financial and human capital in Boston-area startups. Khaled graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and an MBA.
